High Knob Harvest

Back in the days when the Appalachian Mountains were wild and untamed, the early settlers relied on what they could grow, gather, or trade. Fruit wasn’t always a common sight on the supper table—it was a rare treat, a luxury. But come autumn, when the chill nipped the air and the leaves blazed fiery red, the folks from all over the region made their way to High Knob in Norton, Virginia to trade.  I imagine some lucky traders would end up with rare fruits!

Inspired by the legacy of those long-ago trades, High Knob Harvest Blend Tea is a tribute to the flavors that would’ve sparked joy among our Appalachian ancestors. This handcrafted blend combines the crisp sweetness of apples with the juicy burst of watermelon and strawberries, perfectly balanced with hibiscus and rose hips for a tart finish.
