Our Moss & Musk Beard Balm starts with something truly special: Kunekune pig lard from our own free-roaming herd here in the Appalachian mountains. Kunekune are a rare heritage breed known as a lard hog, slow-growing, friendly, and ideal for homesteads. Our pigs forage freely across 7+ acres of forest, swamp, and grasslands, producing a lard that is naturally rich, clean, and deeply nourishing.

Kunekune lard is one of the most nutrient-dense and vitamin-rich animal fats available. It contains naturally occurring Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, and essential fatty acids, making it an exceptional base for skin and beard products.

Faced with an abundance of this beautiful lard, we set out to create something useful, natural, and Appalachian-made. The result is a conditioning beard balm that softens, shapes, and leaves your beard feeling its best, with a rugged woodland scent inspired by moss, earth, and warm musk.

Ingredients:
Kunekune pig lard (Appalachian raised), beeswax, coconut oil, fragrance oil (Moss & Musk).

How to Use:
Rub a small amount between your palms until soft, then apply through the beard from root to tip. Use daily or as needed.
