Our Pound Beach Beard Balm begins with something rare and special: Kunekune pig lard from our own free-roaming herd here in the Appalachian mountains. Kunekune are a heritage lard breed known for their clean, nutrient-rich fat. Our pigs forage naturally on 7+ acres of forest, swamp, and grasslands, giving us a lard that is pure, gentle, and deeply conditioning.

Kunekune lard has long been valued for its naturally occurring vitamins and skin-loving fatty acids, making it an ideal base for beard care. Faced with an abundance of this beautiful lard, we wanted to create something useful, natural, and mountain-made.

Pound Beach is our bright, clean, summer-scented blend. Coconut and lemon come together with that fresh “clean day” scent you’d expect from a walk by the water — even if that water is a mountain creek instead of the ocean. It softens, conditions, and helps shape your beard without feeling heavy or greasy.

Kunekune Pig Lard, Beeswax, Coconut Oil, Shea or Cocoa Butter (if used), Coconut-Lemon Fragrance or Essential Oils

How to Use
Scoop a pea-sized amount, warm it between your fingers, and work it through your beard from skin to ends. Use daily for conditioning and shaping.
